Rectangular carpet, Ardebil's first masterpiece is currently kept in London's Victoria and Albert Museum. The name takes its name from the Persian city Ardebil, where these artifacts were created which are prized for the variety of designs and bright colors. This hand-knotted rug was made with the Loribaft technique in the late 1980s. Tight knot density with cotton weft and wool fleece.
This rug is hand knotted and therefore there may be slight differences in shape, thickness and pattern. This is particularly noticeable in rural and nomadic carpets. The slight imperfections of these hand-made artifacts increase their value and attest to the craftsmanship of the workmanship. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Periodic professional cleaning is recommended.
