DESCRIZIONE
Gouda (Holland): ceramic vase from the Deco period. On the bottom of the vase you can see the logo of the 'little house', also known as PZH ('Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland'); below the wording 'Rhodian', which could be both the name of the decoration as well as the name of one of the first firing processes of Dutch ceramics; under 'Rhodian' a number, probably '49', the same is engraved on the pottery; this number was almost always duplicated by the painter and indicated the model or the mold or the decoration of the piece, repair carried out (not recently) on the opening (see related photos).
