DESCRIZIONE
\1 named after the city of Mud, in southern Khorasan of Iran. The expertise of the local artisans has expressed itself in the past through accurate artifacts made with excellent materials. This specimen is decorated with a dense series of minute Herati motifs interrupted by a large round central medallion. The weft is in cotton and the fleece is in Kork wool. The production period is from the 90s.
This rug is hand knotted and therefore there may be slight differences in shape, thickness and pattern. This is particularly noticeable in rural and nomadic carpets. The slight imperfections of these hand-made artifacts increase their value and attest to the craftsmanship of the workmanship. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
