DESCRIZIONE
\1 named after the holy city of QUM in Iran. The production of these rugs begins after 1930 and is characterized by floral decorations together with silk- on- silk weaving. This specimen made of cotton weft and wool fleece benefits from an excellent density of knots. These carpets can exceed a million knots per square meter.
This rug is hand knotted and therefore there may be slight differences in shape, thickness and pattern. This is particularly noticeable in rural and nomadic carpets. The slight imperfections of these hand-made artifacts increase their value and attest to the craftsmanship of the workmanship. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Periodic professional cleaning is recommended.
