DESCRIZIONE
Rectangular carpet hand-knotted in the city of Yalameh on the Russian border and was originally made by nomadic people of Turkish origin. The product is entirely in wool and with a good knotting fineness. In addition, the yarns used for the fleece are very soft and silky thus providing this rug with a remarkable sheen. The decoration consists of columns of rhomboid medallions while the field is densely decorated with minute motifs. The production period is from the 90s.
This rug is hand knotted and therefore there may be slight differences in shape, thickness and pattern. This is particularly noticeable in rural and nomadic carpets.
