Produced by Cassina and designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa, the “Soriana” series won the Compasso d'Oro award in 1970 and the design enjoyed enormous success in the following decade. The concept behind the Soriana was a bundle of fabric or leather held in a chromed metal frame that aims not only to look comfortable but also to be very comfortable. Still one of the main best-sellers of the made in Italy company, Soriana is presented as a set of 2 armchairs in cashmere velvet and 1 ottoman pouf in brown cashmere velvet. 1 button is missing in one of the armchairs.
