Large pyrogranite floor vase with floral decoration from the Zsolnay porcelain factory (Pécs, Hungary) in excellent condition. Pyrogranite refers to a type of ornamental pottery developed by Zsolnay and put into production in 1886. Fired at a high temperature, this durable material remains resistant to acid and frost, making it suitable for use in roof tiles, interior decorative pottery and outdoors and fireplaces.
